Celebrate Good Times....and the Sixth Form Open Evening!

There’s been plenty to celebrate at Castle School Sixth Form this week. Let’s see:

*The boys taking care of their well-being with impromptu yoga sessions

*The girls being invited to celebrate International Women's Day at Bluestone Wales’ #BreakTheBias conference

*More birthdays

*Dr Riley starting lessons with a new catchphrase every day (the favourite this week was, ‘let’s push forward the frontiers of physics’)

*Mr Phillips’ technicolour socks and waistcoats

*Ms Madni learning that, ‘Miss, that was a sick lesson’ is actually a compliment

*Sixth formers receiving lovely drawings from Pre-prep students. Our favourite was, of course, Saturn with its interesting new name! (See below)

It’s never a dull day at the Sixth Form centre and we are on the ‘gram!’ Follow us for photo fun here: https://instagram.com/castleschoolsixthform?utm_medium

Why not come and see what all the fuss is about and why we are the best choice for Post-16 provision in Pembrokeshire. Our Open Evening is on THURSDAY 7th APRIL 2022 from 5:30pm to 7:00pm at:

CASTLE SCHOOL SIXTH FORM CENTRE

SNOWDROP LANE

HAVERFORDWEST

SA61 1ET

You will be introduced to our outstanding Sixth Form by the two Key Stage 5 leads (because two Heads are always better than one) and the Senior Head Boy and Girl, who will explain the Sixth Form application process to parents/guardians and students. There will be a chance for you to tour our Sixth Form centre, speak to our A-Level and BTEC teachers and students about the courses that we offer, and all the enrichment and extra-curricular opportunities available to Year 12 and 13 to ensure that they stand out from hundreds of others vying for the same university or job placements after school.

It is important that at least one parent or carer attend this event with their child, so they can help their child make informed decisions about their future. We look forward to seeing you on 7th April as you begin preparing for the next steps in your child’s educational journey. Please register your interest by emailing Sajida Madni on s.madni@cspembs.co.uk or calling the school office on 01437558010.

We look forward to meeting you then!
