Castle School is a small centre with big ambitions and aspirations.  A place for those who want to stand out from the crowd.

Together at the Top

The most common complaint of sixth formers is the lack of support and sense of isolation in studying. At Castle School we do not leave you to miss out, mess up or fail.

When studying at home, on holiday or the public library, students will have access to online tutor and peer support. Whilst at our sixth form centre, dedicated academic support staff will be on hand to keep you on track or help with your study.

The only time sixth formers cruise (or drift) might be on a study
weekend aboard our school narrow boat!

You might be nervous that you’re not prepared sufficiently for A Levels.

We recognise this concern and have therefore included an option for you to have early access to a broad bank of GCSE catch up material to ensure you are ready for the start of your A Level courses in September.

You wanted so much more than just lessons and studying – we understand – this is not a time to tread water before university; it is a time to work hard but also a time to spread your wings and expand your horizons.

We have all manner of opportunities on offer – please see our list of extra curricular activities.

All of our A Level course content is online and available 24/7 for you to access. This helps develop independent learning skills required to thrive in University.

It also means that you can choose when and where to study, with the added support in our dedicated study centre, where you can study, learn and socialise with like minded peer groups.

This is all supported with specialist teachers, online support tutors and academic staff to keep you on track with your courses.

All of our A Level courses have a built in assessment system to allow you to track your performance throughout the course.

This coupled with our unrivalled support means we can guarantee a pass within each subject, should you need to retake an exam, you can do so free of charge.*

A new option to achieve great results in an inspirational and aspirational environment.
