FROM £1350 PER TERM
Termly fees for Castle School Sixth form are £1350 per term. There are three terms per year and the A Level and BTEC courses are 2 year courses. Pupils may take up to 5 A Levels at no extra cost.
If you would like to take one A Level at Pembrokeshire College as part of our Federated Learning Programme (FLP) there will be an additional charge of £250 per term. Please see our separate list of A level subjects available on the FLP.
External examinations are charged for separately and invoiced with fees in term 3 and term 6 of each 2 year course.
There are no additional charges for any short courses taken.
Additional costs will apply for trips and visits both social and academic.
Select the A-levels you would like to take or organise to attend one of our tutor led A Level Guidance evenings to help you. See our list of A levels in the drop down menu.
Request an application form and apply to us (remember we will need an idea of your predicted grades and also to know who will be the fee payer). Attend an interview.
Once an offer of place has been sent out you will be sent joining instructions and need to pay a £250 deposit. At this point if you wish you can commit to the course, pay the first term’s invoice and benefit from the pre A Level, GCSE consolidation material available for the subjects relevant to your ongoing studies. Let us know your final GCSE grades and if these are as we all hope, get ready to join us on September 7th 2021. If your final grades are not as you had hoped we may need to discuss other options with you.
Our sixth form students will be expected to dress appropriately at all times (casual, informal wear for day to day lessons eg jeans and sweatshirt) but possess a smart business suit (trousers or skirt suit for girls) for certain occasions.
All students will be expected to have an appropriate laptop or tablet.
The usual relevant equipment depending on subjects will be expected ie scientific calculators for maths and science subjects, notebooks, pens and pencils etc
